Angel's ChicReviewsAngels Chic has me captivated - Sara Spiegel Not being an avid book reader it can take me ages to read a book, but Angels Chic had me captivated. Definitely on a par with the Artemis Fowl series, with adventure around every corner. An absolute must for book lovers everywhere.
A rare blend of innocense & sophistication - Michael Gerrard A rare blend of innocence & sophistication that challenges our preconceived ideas of travel and reality. It is a charming adventure that transports (or teleports) the reader from the streets of downtown Liverpool to downtown India and amongst other places the heavenly court of Amritamaya in Chandraloka. I was sorry to come to the end of such an enjoyable journey albeit fraught with difficulties posed by the sinister illuminati...........what are they really after? Read on, discover, open your mind.........
If you want to read something different, this is the book for you - Philip Weeks Definitely an unusual book which will keep you guessing all the way through. If you want to read something that is different and not run of the mill then this is the book for you. It has all the colour of Hinduism with a down to earth flavour of 90's Liverpool. An interesting first book from the author, I'm sure there will be more to come.
Highly entertaining book - Bart ThakeryHaving just finished reading Angel's Chic, I felt compelled to write my appreciation. It grabs your attention from the off. The characters are believable (I'm sure I've shared a spliff with more than one). The escapades of the two heroes are full of fun and moral dilemmas, and I found that I could not put the book down until I had reached the last page. What a remarkable first book this is. Well done Arjuna. I Can't wait for your next book. What a good film it would make. |
